SUGA’s Significant Contribution fo BTS’ HYYH Masterpiece
In 2015, during the production of BTS’s The Most Beautiful Moment in Life series, SUGA faced one of the most intense periods of his career.
SUGA is a producer, composer and writer. While creating the intros ("Intro: The Most Beautiful Moment in Life" & "Never Mind"), he went through about twenty revisions, describing the process as something that “drove him crazy.” At that time, BTS’s company was still developing, and SUGA worked in a tiny studio, barely larger than a table. For over two weeks, he worked day and night, determined to perfect the music that would later define an era in BTS’s discography.
SUGA revealed that when he finally finished “Never Mind,” he told himself he would “run away” if the company didn’t like it. The pressure was immense. Then came a dramatic moment: one day, heavy rain flooded his small studio. When SUGA returned, he had to move everything out quickly and called the BTS dance crew for help. With their support, he managed to save all his equipment and continue producing what became one of his most iconic works.
